The Hartsville Fire Department currently enforces the “International Fire Code, 2003 Edition. The department strives to continue to deliver outstanding customer service by fair and uniform code enforcement. During the planning stages of commercial building construction, the Fire Marshal works closely with the City of Hartsville’s Building Official and Darlington County’s Planning and Building Department. Services include: plan reviews, inspections during construction and Certificate of Occupancy Inspections. The Fire Marshal’s Division investigates all fires occurring within the Hartsville Fire Department’s jurisdiction as to their origin and cause and works closely with the following law Enforcement agencies. Hartsville Police Department, Darlington County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED). |
