The City of Hartsville will begin a utility repair on Laurens Ave between Applebee’s and the Fairfield Inn on Monday, May 2, 2011. This will require approximately 10 days of work. There will be no through traffic allowed but access will not be blocked to the Fairfield Inn or Applebee’s from Laurens Ave. Questions may be directed to The Department of Public Service at 383-3006

POLICE ASKING FOR HELP.

On January 26, 2011 Officers with the Hartsville Police Department were dispatched to 140 E Carolina Avenue, Jack B Nimble Children’s Clothing Boutique in reference to a robbery. What the officers found was a robbery, assault, arson and attempted murder.

Anyone with information about this case or the suspects who committed this heinous crime are asked to contact Lt. Brian Rudick at 843-383-3030, or report it to Crime Stoppers @ 1-888-CRIMESC (1-888-274-6372) or the SC Arson Hotline.
