Plans on track for Veterans Memorial in Burry Park.

Below: Members of the dedication committee for the Veterans Memorial took a few minutes to pose in front of the Veterans Memorial monument. Charlie Pate and his son Charles designed and sculpted the five bronze panels for the memorial. Plans are underway to have them installed on the concrete block walls around mid-September.

We've met our first deadline of 168 plaques!

We targeted 84 plaques for the first round and doubled our expectations! There are five monuments comprising the Veterans Memorial located in Hartsville’s Burry Park. These five monuments can accommodate 84 memorial plaques each.
The plaques will be mounted soon in readiness for the dedication and flag-raising ceremony on November 11, 2010, in Burry Park.

But, do not worry, plaque sales will continue throughout the year to completely fill the monuments. Call 843-383-3009 for more information.

If you would like to order a plaque for your Veteran, please click here for printable form.
